The beds were exceptionally comfortable in the room. the hotel has a safe, television, and a mini-fridge-bar available. the location is favorable and excellent, situated in a calm area not far from a nice waterfront and pedestrian zone. It is also an excellent choice for visiting the Cathedral of Galati.

The hotel's central location in Galati city center is mind-blowing, just minutes from everything! The customer service is super, with a polite and helpful English-speaking staff. The elegant interior stairway is jaw-dropping, and the rooms are the biggest and highest we've ever stayed in. They are also incredibly clean, with premium quality mattresses, bedding sheets, and towels. The cozy restaurant and surrounding restaurants and cafes provide plenty of dining options. The private parking space is a game-changer in this part of town, and the free Wi-Fi is a great bonus. our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Everything was very good here - welcoming staff and brand-new rooms. A great selection of goodies for breakfast. - Central location, at a moderate distance from Piata Centrala.

A nice touch to have an on-site restaurant so I didn't have to wander around looking for a place to eat. The bar was also a great spot to unwind after a long day. Dry cleaning service saved me from having to do laundry myself. Free parking? A true luxury!

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from the Danube embankment. The vibrant atmosphere surrounding the hotel offers plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy. The clean and cozy rooms provide a comfortable stay, and the friendly English-speaking staff are always ready to assist. Furthermore, the hotel offers private enclosed parking, perfect for car travelers.

One minor drawback is that the Wi-Fi password was not provided in the room, requiring guests to inquire about it at the reception.

My stay at Alex was excellent. The room was super clean clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also great, and I felt safe with the secure parking. I had a wonderful experience at Alex. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Hotel Alex in the center of Galati for a few nights. The location was perfect, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and within walking distance to a lovely riverside for jogging or biking. The private enclosed parking lot was super convenient for my car, and there was even an EV charger nearby. The rooms were clean and cozy, with friendly, English-speaking staff. I'd recommend this hotel for car travelers exploring Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, or Ukraine, as Romanian roads are excellent.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the city. I loved being so close to the Danube River, allowing me to take a peaceful morning stroll along its banks. The hotel is also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes, making it easy to find a place to eat and relax. The cleanliness of the hotel was really good, and the room I stayed in was not only spacious but also immaculate. Another great feature was the private parking space, a huge convenience in this part of town.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The value for money at Hotel Alex was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was even a fridge in the room. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, and the staff treated me with utmost politeness and a positive attitude.

The food for breakfast could be improved by including a real Müsli option. Most hotels offer a simple, sugar-free Müsli with plain yoghurt, and I recommend Hotel Alex to introduce it as well.
